NTF DIRECTOR Tours Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park and Momi Battery Historic Park
July 1, 2020

Following the lifting of several COVID-19 restrictions, National Trust of Fiji Director, Elizabeth Erasito, was able to tour the Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park and Momi Battery Historical Park to inspect the Parks and meet with Park Rangers.

It was also an opportunity to inspect the new displays installed in the SSDNP Visitor Information Centre.

The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park has re-opened for business, however the Momi Battery Historical Park will re-open in October following repairs.

“Parks and recreational spaces are very important safe places for communities for physical, health and mental well-being. The NTF is committed to keeping the NTF Parks and places open and accessible for the Fijian people” said Director Erasito.
