The National Trust of Fiji (NTF) is a statutory authority established
under the National Trust of Fiji Act (Cap 265) to manage designated areas of heritage
significance. Applications are invited for the position of Land Management Officer.
The applicant is expected to assist the Education Program Manager with the NTF’S
Education program planning, coordination and implementation.
Main functions:
> Assist in developing the HIYH working manual of activities, including lessons,
interactive sessions, field research and workshops.
> Organize logistical arrangements for any Education Program workshop, site visit or
training.
> Liaise when required with a wide range of stakeholders, facilitating exchange and
support for the HIYH and other NTF site-based programs.
> Assist in fostering effective communication means for the communities, enabling
positive community support for the NTF HIYH conservation program.
> Assist in training rangers in the delivery of the HIYH program across NTF heritage
sites.
Qualifications and experience:
> Bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed.) and or Heritage management related
qualification.
> 5 years of work experience in a similar role or in a teaching position.
> English language skill, both written and spoken (Essential)
> Passionate about conservation work.
